Daniel Danny LaRoyal Carpenter II; of Monessen; passed away on Sunday; May 29; 2011; at the young age of 28. Born July 9; 1982; in Pittsburgh; he was the son of the late Daniel LaRoyal Carpenter and Shirette Aldrich-Carpenter; who survives. In addition to his father; he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Daniel L. Carpenter Sr. and Helen (Carl) Barbour. Danny; affectionately called Luver; was employed by Maronda Homes in Monessen; he attended Monessen School System and Gate of Heaven Church of God in Christ. He loved to dress and always rocked a pair of Jay-Z and he was a diehard Steelers fan. He leaves to cherish his memory; his loving mother; Shirette Aldrich-Carpenter (Jeffrey Carlock); sister; Danicca Carpenter (Eddie Cook); maternal grandparents; Lloyd and Rosetta Aldrich; one son; Daniel LaRoyal Carpenter III; a very special and loving friend; Marcia Tansmore; his extended family; Richard Street Jr.; Jarrell Barbour; Jeffrey Carlock; Jevante Carlock and Richard Street Sr.; who was like a father to him; and a host of other relatives and friends. Danny will be sorely missed by all. Visitation will be held on Thursday; June 2; from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8 p.m. at the Gate of Heaven COGIC; 644 Reed Ave.; Monessen; followed by funeral services officiated by Elder William C.
