Mary Rose BeBe Kerr Armstrong; 84; of 237 South Ave.;Bradford; passed away Saturday; Dec. 25; 2010; in her residence. Born Jan. 30; 1926; in Ellwood City;she was the daughter of the late Charles and Raphaela (Suglia) Kerr. Ms. Armstrong was a 1944 graduate of Monessen High School. She was employed at the Monessen Daily Independent. She had worked at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford in the library; and then for the Bradford Hospital at the front desk reception area. She also worked as a switchboard operator for several years. She was a member of Church of the Ascension; the Junior Guild; and a honorary member of Bradford Area Women’s Club. Surviving are a son; James (Cynthia) Armstrong; of West Brookfield; Mass.; a brother; Jack (Rose Marie) Kerr; of Rostraver Township; two grandchildren; Terri Miro; of Cheshire; Conn.; and Robyn Manzelli; of New Haven; Conn.; one great-grandson; Ryan Miro; a niece; Kim Kerr Gilbert; of Rostraver Township; and a nephew; John Kerr; of Mobile; Ala. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother; Ed Kerr.Family will be receiving friends on Tuesday;December 28th;2010;in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes;Inc.;South Ave.;from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m.;at which time funeral and committal services will be held at 8:00 p.m.with Rev.Stacey Fussell;Rector;of the Church of Ascension officiating.
