Obituary

Adolph G. Serenari, Jr., 85, of Fairhope (Belle Vernon) passed away Friday, February 11, 2011 in Canonsburg Hospital. A son of the late Adolph and Annita Serenari, he was born in Belle Vernon on October 8, 1925. Protestant by faith, Adolph was an avid Pitt Football fan, a season ticket holder for over 25 years and was a member of the Pitt Golden Panthers Club. He had worked in the construction industry, and, along with his son had helped build and run the Silver Mine Hobby Store in Washington and Legends in N. Belle Vernon. He also served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Fran Frammartino Serenari, one daughter and son-in-law, Lynette & Edward Mills of Aurora, OH, one son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Sharon Serenari of Bentleyville, two grandchildren, Larry Serenari and his wife Leighanna of Fayette City and Michael Serenari and his wife Stacy of Carnegie and four great-grandchildren, Jayden, Kayla, Dominic and Giavanni. Friends will be received 7 to 9 P.M. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M.
