Obituary

Olga C. Celestino Marini, 86, of Kennett Square, Pa., formerly of North Belle Vernon, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, in Heartland Hospice House, Wilmington, Delaware. Born March 10, 1924, in Monongahela, she was the daughter of the late Amos and Olympia Iaconianni Celestino. A resident of Kennett Square for the past 8 years, Mrs. Marini was a former member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, was a homemaker, and member of the Anita Garibaldi Society, of Belle Vernon. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Elizabeth Marini, of Kennett Square, Pa., a daughter, Deborah Marini, of Feeding Hills, Mass., two sisters, Dalfey Shulock and Mafalda Martello, and two grandchildren, Garrett Marini and Madison Marini. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jordon Marini, in 1993, and a brother, Arthur Celestino. Visitation will be held Sunday, Nov. 28, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, (724) 929-6183. Prayer service will be held Monday, Nov. 29, at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgr. Roger A. Statnick, pastor as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Anita Garibaldi Society will hold services Sunday at 6 p.m. in the funeral home.
