He was born July 21; 1940 in Washington Twp.; Son of the late Spence Astle and the late Rose McKenna Astle. He was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel. He was a veteran of the US Navy and a member of the Fairhope Rod & Gun Club;Naomi Club and Belle Vernon American Legion. Frank enjoyed hunting;fishing;gardening; crossword puzzles and a little bit of gambling.

Surviving are his wife; Linda Baker Astle and Son; Dane Astle and wife Jan of Jeffersonville;IN; 2 Daughters; Dawn Greenawalt and husband Timothy of Scottdale; Pa. and Holly Kmetko of Belle Vernon;Pa; 2 Grandsons Trent and Luke Astle of Jeffersonville;IN; sister Patricia Astle of Port Charlotte;FL.; Special friends Beth and Jennifer Sullivan of Port Charlotte;FL and his Beloved pet Bailey.

He was preceded in death by Brothers; Jack Astle and Spence (Butch) Astle; Jr. and Son-in-law; Roman Kmetko.
