Obituary

Walter Udgie Regal, 79, of Fayette City, died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010, in Monongahela Valley Hospital. He was born Sunday, Sept. 6, 1931, in Fairhope, son of the late Join Regal and Adele Guggenburger Regal. He was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, Allenport. He was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran. Surviving are two sons, Walter Regal, of Fayette City, and Anthony Regal and wife, Angela, of Long Branch, daughter, Nicole Gillock and husband, Eugene, of Belle Vernon, seven grandchildren, Scott and Kim Regal, Angela Regal, Laura Regal, Alexandra Dicenzo, Cody Gillock, Ashley Gillock, four great-grandchildren, Demeteri, Melina, Madison and Hayden, a brother, Leopold Regal and wife Della, of Belle Vernon, two brothers-in-law, Joe Antal, of Belle Vernon, and Bob Muha of the state of Indiana, and a sister-in-law, Ann Regal, of Belle Vernon. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen R Regal, a brother, Joseph Regal, and a sister, Ann Antal. Friends will be received Thursday, Oct. 28, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the ELEY-MCCRORY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 334 Main St., Fayette City, (724) 326-5621, www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com, and Friday, Oct. 29, until 1 p.m., the hour of services with the Rev. Kelly Schanely officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Little Redstone United Methodist Church, Fayette City.
