Sasha A. Zuro; 26; of Belle Vernon (Washington Township); died Sunday; Jan. 27; 2008; as a result of injuries sustained in a fire at Seven Springs Mountain Resort. A daughter of Robert D. and Mila E. Kupirovich Zuro; Sasha was born in Carroll Township on May 10; 1981. She was a member of the Orchard Christian Fellowship Church in Monessen and was a 1999 graduate of Belle Vernon Area High School; where she excelled in basketball with over 1;000 career points; and in softball. In addition to her parents; she is survived by her brother; Paul Zuro; of Washington Township; her maternal grandmother; Lana Kupirovich; of Belle Vernon (Lynnwood); her paternal grandmother; Violet Zuro; of Belle Vernon; aunts and uncles; Milene and Richard Bianco; of Washington; D.C.; Janice and Gordon Yeaton; of Rostraver Township; John and Karen Zuro; of Culpepper; Va.; and Kathy and Michael McCormick; of Greensburg; and numerous cousins. Sasha was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather; John Zuro; on Dec. 3; 1975; and her maternal grandfather; Miles Kupirovich; on Dec. 7; 2005. Mr. and Mrs. Zuro would like all of Sasha’s friends who loved her to attend her memorial service; which will be held Wednesday; Jan. 30; at 11 a.m. in Orchard Christian Fellowship Church; 721 Schoonmaker Ave.; Monessen; with Pastor John Custer officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
