Wanda F. Atkinson; 82; of North Belle Vernon; passed away Sunday; May 20; 2012; in Westmoreland Manor; after an extended stay. A daughter of the late William and Irene Sterner Davis; she was born in Belle Vernon on Aug. 18; 1929. Protestant by faith; Wanda had been a lifelong resident of North Belle Vernon. She was a former employee of the Hill’s and Kmart Department stores. Survivors include her high school sweetheart and husband of 63 1/2 years; Wallace William Atkinson; two daughters and sons-in-law; Darla and Timothy Zeffe; of North Belle Vernon; and Lyndell and Stephen Koslasky; of Moon Township; four grandchildren; Melissa Zeli and her husband; Samuel; of Youngwood; Erin Watson and her husband; George; of Frostburg; Md.; Meghan Zeffe and her friend; Daniel Henry; of North Belle Vernon; and Nicolas Koslasky and his wife; Jessica; of Pittsburgh; and eight great-grandchildren; Jack; Luke and Ethan Zeli; George; Timothy and Matthew Watson; Isaac Pope and Isabella Zeffe. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by one grandson; Douglas Koslasky in 2003; and two brothers; Harvey and John Davis.
