Lorraine Kissell Vandernitte, 89, of Belle Vernon, went to be with the Lord, on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 in UPMC Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh. A daughter of the late John and Anna Pushnack Andercheck, she was born in Monessen on May 19, 1927. Lorraine was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and an excellent bridge player, earning master's points. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Barb Kissell; a daughter, Melanie Kissell; two sisters, Dorothy and her husband John "Jack" Janosik and Sonya Andercheck; eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry E. Vandernitte, her first husband, Paul Kissell, Jr.; a son, John Kissell; and a daughter, Cheryl Knight,. Friends will be received Friday from 10AM to 12:00 Noon in the Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon.
