Mrs.Samuel Shepler died Wednesday morning at 8 o’clock;at her home in Shepler after a brief illness. She was born January 29;1841. On July 1;1874 she was married to Samuel Shepler and to them two sons were born;of whom one survives. Mrs.Shepler has been a member of the Methodist church since she was fourteen years of age and for a large part of the time was an ernest worker in Bible-school work. Her life was such as to win the highest respect and confidence of all who knew her;and she will be sorely missed. The funeral services were conducted by Rev.C.E.Smith;pastor of the Christian church. The remains were interred yesterday afternoon at 1 o’clock in Belle Vernon cemetery.
