Mary Jane Jones was born to Roy Lewis and Edith Staff Smock in Belle Vernon;Pa.on June 27;1931. She attended school in Belle vernon and graduated from Rostraver High School in 1946. She married William S.Jones;Jr.of Belle Vernon on October 2;1953. The resided in Belle Vernon until February 1964 when they moved to Rockville;Md. Mary Jane worked for Bank of America for 30 years. Her hobbies included cross-stitching;reading;and ceramics. She volunteered with Meals on Wheels in Montgomery County;Maryland. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren. Mary Jane and William had two daughters;Melanie Jane Owen and Karen Lee Oliver. She had three grandchildren;Heather Leigh O’Connor;Erin Marie Cassell;and Mahatha Marshall Oliver;III. She also had three great-grandchildren;Owen Highland O’Connor;Liam James O’Connor and Zoey Grace Cassell. Mary Jane passed waay on December 7;2009 of heart failure as a result of pulmonary artery hypertension.
