Leana Ingram was 85 years old upon her passage on 5 March 2010. She lived in Alexandria;Virginia with her niece Alma Ingram Withrow for the last twelve years. Her last moments were spent at Alexandria Hospital;Virginia due to cardiac arrest. She was born in Rockingham;North Carolina on April 10;1924 to Nevoida Aida Ingram and Leroy Aaron Ingram. She was truly loved and raised by her stepfather George Robinson. She is preceded in death by her siblings Leroy Ingram Jr.;Adam Ingram;Odell Ingram and Vivian Holmes. Leana graduated from Monessen High School with honors. Her best friend was Melissa Floyd Hill. After high school she went on to graduate from Douglas School of Business. While living in Monessen her life entailed work;volunteerism;and church affiliations. During her career she worked at the office of Monessen’s Mayor;NAACP;and the Court House of Greensburg;PA. One of Leana’s attributes was praying and interceding for others. Her prayers were answered quickly. A host of nieces;nephews;cousins;and friends are left to mourn.
