Obituary

Lang A. Key Jr., 48, of Charleroi, passed away on Friday, Feb. 12, 2010, at his home. Born Feb 13, 1961, in North Charleroi, he was the son of the late Lang A. Key Sr. and Alda Ogletree-Humphries. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Williams, sister, Allena Wynn, and son, Lang A. Key III. He is survived by his fiance, Brenda Lippencott, two sons, Lang A. Key IV and Terrell Key, four daughters, Ebony and Shanta Key, Aretha Smith and Latoya Gutowski, three stepsons, Brian Franklin, James and Anthony Lippencott, all of Charleroi, one nephew, who he raised, Kirk Wynn, of Pittsburgh, three brothers, Tiwan Key of Charleroi, Blanchard (Jessica) Key and Garvisa (Kathy) Key, both of Monessen, two sisters, Alicia Key, of Ohio, and Vita Key-Klotz, of Oklahoma, eight grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010, at noon at Union Baptist Church, 670 McMahon Ave., Monessen with the Rev. Darryl West officiating. Interment will be at the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the BEVERLY C. DRAPER FUNERAL HOME INC., 608 Sixth St., Monessen (724)684-6242.
