Julie Ann Issi, 60, of Belle Vernon, died Sunday, August 28, 2016 in her home. She was born December 30, 1955 in New Eagle, the daughter of the late Ronald L. and Dolores Rose Jankowski Buck. Julie was a 1973 graduate of Ringgold High School and the former John Robert Powers Business School in Pittsburgh. From 1975 to 1985, Julie was employed as an administrative secretary at Combustion Engineering in East Monongahela. For a brief time after that, she worked at Michael's craft stores. She then owned and operated Monessen Florist until 1995 and later was employed at Pat Catan craft stores. On July 9, 1977, she and her husband, Jack were married at the Fayette City Alliance Church and on January 31, 1999, they were baptized as believers. She is currently a member of the Bible Alliance Church in West Newton. Julie had a passion for flower arranging and other crafts, enjoyed vacationing and loved her dogs. Julie is survived by her husband of thirty nine years, Jack L. Issi; brother-in-law, Bob Issi and wife Deena of Speers; nephew, Brian Issi; close cousins, Lori Dudro and husband Ross Bickle of Whitehall, Donna Dudro of Eldora; her loving chow, Chum-li; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her chowdren, Nooki and Sammo. Friends will be received on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Frank Todaro officiating at the Bible Alliance Church, 1300 Mt. Pleasant Road, West Newton. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home at 10:00 AM and go in procession to the church. Entombment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
