Obituary

Thomas R. Province, 60, of Johnstown died Friday, Aug. 21, 2015, in the Memorial Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia on Nov. 4, 1954, he is the son of Margaret Ann Gibbs Province, who survives and resides in Johnstown and the late Edgar R. “Tim” Province. Tom was a former employee of the FBI in Pittsburgh, followed by his retirement from NDIC in Johnstown. He was an active member of the Westmont Baptist Church, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. In addition to his mother, he is survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends will be received 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Belle Vernon/Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com, where a funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday with Pastor Mark Schollaert officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
