Thomas G. Lender, 80, of Monessen, passed away on Friday, Sept. 5, 2025, in Summerville Regional Medical Center in West Virginia. He was born on July 15, 1945, in North Charleroi, son of the late John H. and Dorothy Horn Lender. He was Protestant by faith and served his country in the United States Navy. He was also a member of the former Monessen Croatian Club and the Pricedale Russian Club. He worked for many years as a steelworker at Homestead Steel Works until its closure and then worked for and retired from Prudential as a salesman. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Sarran Lender; two daughters, Kristie (Julio) Pampena of Glenshaw, and Jamie (James Scirotto) Lender of Rostraver Township; two grandchildren, Julia and Adelio Pampena; a brother, Tim Lender of Lower Burrell; nieces and nephews; and his loving dog, Shilo. Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 8, 2005, at ROBERT A. BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC., Grand Boulevard and Marion Avenue, Monessen. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Sandy Fitzgibbons officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
