Louis K. (Chipper) Lindey; 74 of Fayette City ; PA; died Thursday; May 7; 2009 in Holidaysburg Veterans Home; Holidaysburg; Pa.

He was born July 31; 1934 in New Eagle; Pa.; Son of the late John Stanley Lindey and the late Doretha Rudolph. He was a member of Fairhope Rod & Gun Club; Fayette City American Legion; Former Football Coach for the Fayette City Bulldogs and an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan.

Surviving are his wife; Roberta (Bobbie) Lindey and 2 Daughters; Terri Hall & husband Bob of Fayette City; Lisa Brown & husband James of Jefferson Twp; Sister; Charlotte Brown of Fayette City; Brother; John William Lindey of Delmont; 6 Grandchildren; Bob; Jeremy; Josh and Nick Hall; Melissa and Matthew Brown.

Friends will be received in the Eley/McCrory Funeral Home; Inc. Main St.; Fayette City on Sunday 12-4 & 7-9 PM and Monday; May 11; 2009 until 11:00 AM the hour of services with Rev. Wayne Boring officiating.
