John William’Jack’ Todd Jr.; 92; of Allenport; passed away Thursday; Dec. 18; 2008; in Portage; Ind. He was born Oct. 13; 1916; in Dunlevy; to John W. Sr. and Mildred (Roberts) Todd. He was married to Elsie Irene Myrtle; who preceded him in death on July 2; 1994. Jack was also preceded in death by his son; Ronald ‘Scrapper’ Todd; sisters; Jenny; Helen and Mimi; and brother; Ralph. He is survived by his daughter; Jean (Paul) Brutout; of Indiana; daughter-in-law; Judith Todd; of Stockdale; grandchildren; Terry (Jennifer) Todd; of Pennsylvania; Randy (Susan) Brutout and Paula Goodwin; of Indiana; Jacki (Roy) Davis; of Virginia; Rondell (Ed) Mickey; of Pennsylvania; and Richard (Caryn) Todd; of Florida; great-grandchildren; Nicole (Johnny); Heather (Jeramy); Alyssa; Nathan; Bryttany; Troy; Erin; Courtney and Brody; great-great-grandchildren; Gage; Kara and Aiden; and a very dear friend and companion; Dona Saunders. Jack worked as a steelworker for Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel and was a member of the United Steelworkers Union. He also was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose; the Slovak Club; and Cathedral of Learning. Cremation was handled by Heritage Crematory; Portage; Ind. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The public is invited to attend.
