Kenneth E.Quinn;91 of Charleroi;died Monday;March 30;2009 in the West Malden Manor in Charleroi. He was born August 3;1917 in Pricedale;a son of the late John and Sarah Fazenbaker Quinn. Mr.Quinn was a World War II veteran serving in the US Navy. He received the Purple Heart and he was a member of the VFW Post #167 of Charleroi and he was a former member of Mon-Valley Chapter of Society of Preservation & Encouragement of Barbershop Quartet singing in America (SPEBSQA). He retired from the Corning Glass Works Charleroi Plant. Surviving is his wife;Ruth Balogh Quinn;his son;Douglas K.Quinn and wife Pat of The Villages;Fla.;two grandchildren;Jeffrey D.Quinn and Dr.Kelly Ann Deister and husband Eric. In addition to his parents Mr.Quinn was preceded in death by two sisters;Isabell Nauman;& Gladys Sullenberger;five brothers;Lester;Robert;Charles; Eagye and Harold Quinn. Friends will be received Thursday 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home & Cremation Services;Inc.;226 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi.
