Georgette O. Sadler, 96, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014, at the Presbyterian Senior Care, Washington, Pa. She was born April 22, 1918, in North Charleroi, the daughter of the late Willis and Marguerite Byrnes Paxton. Georgette lived her entire life in Charleroi, North Charleroi and one year in Los Angeles, Calif. She was a longtime member of the Presbyterian Church in Charleroi. She worked at Zelenski’s Bridal Shop, Millers Fashion Apparel and Sears (Los Angeles). She was an accomplished seamstress, a wonderful cook and gave her love, time and talent unconditionally to her family and friends. Georgette was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her children, Nancy Losey of St. Louis, Mo., Bonnie (Richard) Daylong of Mapleview and Earl (Helen) Sadler of Fallowfield Township; six grandchildren, John (Eileen) Kach, Lynne (Lynn) Clapp, Bruce (Sharon) Kach, Pamella (Jeffrey) Shimon, Susan (Michael) LaCarte and Courtney (Brian Hildreth) Daylong; 14 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pete M. Sadler; three sisters, Peggy Garcia, Elaine Campbell and Minnie Metz; and a son-in-law, Wendell Losey. The family wishes to thank the 5th floor staff of the Presbyterian Senior Care for their care and concern. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. in the SCHROCK-HOGAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, followed by funeral services at noon. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given to the Presbyterian Church in Charleroi or the Washington County Humane Society, Eighty Four, Pa.
