Ruth Elaine Hubans; 82; formerly of Damascus; Md.; passed away peacefully Tuesday; Dec. 14; 2010; in Manor Care Nursing Home in Bethesda; Md. A daughter of the late Bartrum and Inez Milby Taylor; she was born in Twilight on Sept. 8; 1928. Mrs. Hubans retired from Montgomery County Public Schools in Maryland after 30 years of service as a media specialist. Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law; Charlene and Wade Root; of Gainesville; Va.; Brenda and David Baxter; of Ashburn; Va.; and Mary and Augustine Anastasi of Boyds; Md.; one brother; John Taylor; of Acme; one sister; Jean Wood; of Rockville; Md.; and three grandsons. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Charles Hubans; and one brother; Byron (Bill) Taylor.
