Marlene Bevan; 75; of Washington Township; Belle Vernon; died Monday; Oct. 25; 2010; in Southwestern Nursing Center; Pleasant Hills. The daughter of the late John and Margaret Winstone Mesher; she was born in McKeesport on Jan. 10; 1935. A graduate of Donora High School; she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon; where she served as an Elder; Clerk of Session; and a member of its H.O.A. class. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star; Monessen Chapter 205. Retired from Black Mountain Inc.; she was employed for many years at Sager Coal Company and Equibank N.A. Survivors include two sons; Marvin and wife; Lara Glembock; of State College; and Jeffrey and wife; Katherine; of Murphy; N.C.; an aunt; Rowena Kioski; and nieces and nephews; who were special to her. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years; Marvin S. Bevan; in 2008.
