Estella Elizabeth Shosky, 98, of Belle Vernon, died Sunday, August 2, 2020 and has gone to be with the Lord. Born in Star Junction on December 21, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Sophia V. (Williams) Morris. A homemaker, Stella was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church and was a former member of the First Baptist Church in Belle Vernon where she was a Sunday School teacher for 54 years. Stella enjoyed working in many church activities, was an avid reader and was a member of the Powder Puffs Bowling League. She is survived by her daughters, Nancy (Thomas) DeSocio of Ridgefield Park, NJ, Judy (Bill) Marshall of Belle Vernon and Marsha (Bob) Ferrara of Rostraver; grandchildren, Kristen Olivieri, Leah Toutounjian, Thomas DeSocio, Carrie Nagy, Michael Marshall and Emily Dunn; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Midge Patterson of Rostraver and Carol Sethman of TN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Shosky and seven siblings. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in the Olive Branch Baptist Church, 296 PA-981, Rostraver Township, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ken Sommerfeldt officiating.
