Obituary

Jamie Lee Weir, 68, of Rostraver Township, died Thursday, January 6, 2022.  Born in North Charleroi on October 26, 1953, she was the daughter of the late James and Florence May (Johnston) Weir. Jamie was a retired school teacher for the BVA School District, having taught at Rostraver Elementary School. Her daughter, Julie is attending Penn State University, and Jamie was very proud to be a Penn State Mom! She enjoyed shopping and going to the Meadows. Jamie loved Julie and her life-long friends. She is survived by her daughter, Julie A. Weir; and her two favorite dogs, Zoey and Allie. Friends will be received on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. with Rev. David J. Nazimek officiating.  Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
