June A. Burke Hamrock; 89; of Monessen; went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her family Saturday; April 10; 2010; at 11:53 p.m. at Havencrest Nursing Home. Born June 30; 1920; in Belle Vernon; she was the daughter of the late Stephen Franklin and Margaret Doyle Burke. A lifelong resident of Monessen; Mrs. Hamrock was a member of the First Christian Church of Belle Vernon and was a homemaker. A very loving and caring mother; grandmother; and great-grandmother; she is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law; Linda and Thomas Kreger; of Monessen; Karen Jewell; of Monessen; a son and daughter-in-law; Joseph Jan and Ann Hamrock; of Lake Frederick; Va.; five grandchildren; Aaron and Wendy Jewell; of McMurray; Justin and Laurie Jewell; of Belle Vernon; Brian Kreger; of Blacklick; Ohio; Eric and Rachel Hamrock; of Baltimore; and Jodie and Ross Hewitt; of Winchester; Va.; three great-grandchildren; Jackson Jewell; Parker Jewell and Kendall Eve Jewell; and a sister; Nolace Burke; of Perryopolis. She was preceded in death by her husband; Joseph Hamrock; and three sisters; Mary Burke; Georgetta Higgins; and Margaret Hough.
