Millie M. Gelotti, 96, of Gillespie, Fayette City, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015, in Country Crae Manor, Fayette City. She was born Feb. 14, 1919, in Gillespie, Washington Township, daughter of the late Ignatius Madlenk and Rosalia Holub Madlenk. Millie was a member of the former Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church of Fayette City and current member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church of Belle Vernon. Millie loved to spend time in her kitchen cooking and baking and also enjoyed taking care of her yard and garden. Surviving to cherish her memory are her son, Dennis Gelotti and wife, Rose, of Uniontown; grandson, Scott Gelotti of Grover Beach, Calif.; and granddaughter, Gina Vactor and husband, Taylor, of Houston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of over 50 years, John Gelotti; sister, Helen Teringo; two brothers, Frank and Ignatz Madlenk. Prayers of Transfer will be held Friday, March 13, 2015, at 9:30 a.m.in the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Sebastian Church, Belle Vernon, with Msgr. Roger A. Statnick as celebrant. Entombment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery, Belle Vernon.
