Obituary

Florence 'Fonnie' Calametti, 70, of North Belle Vernon, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008, in Mon Valley Hospital. A daughter of the late Harry and Elizabeth (Turnbull) Sethman, she was born in Belle Vernon on March 27, 1938. A member of the First United Methodist Church and the Red Hat Society, both of Belle Vernon, Fonnie lived most of her later years in Belle Vernon and worked as a home health aide for Albert Gallatin Nursing. Survivors include one daughter, Michele Canzonieri, of Belle Vernon, three sons and two daughters-in-law, Jim and Sue Weaver, of Oakton, Va., Dennis Weaver, of Belle Vernon, and Dwayne and Jane Weaver, of Parkton, Md., two sisters, Hannah Bennett, of Belle Vernon, and Martha Warner, of Springfield, Mo., 11 grandchildren, Josh, Jamie, Aaron, Tim, Dan, Madeline and Natalie Weaver, and Anthony, Allen, Angelica and Eric Canzonieri, and one great-grandchild, Dominic Canzonieri. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony 'Tony' Calametti, in 2001, one son, Michael Weaver, in 1986, four sisters, Ethel Venneri, Midge Carr, Dorothy Rainey and Norma Jean Seibert, and three brothers, Harry, Richard and Howard Sethman. Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME and CREMATORY INC. (724-929-5300), 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, www.fergusonfuneralhomeandcrematory.com. Funeral services will be in the funeral home on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. David Zona officiating. Entombment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery Mausoleum.
