Obituary

Lorraine K. Koslasky, 60, of Belle Vernon, Washington Township, died Thursday, May 23, 2013, at 11:27 p.m. at her home. Born Jan. 11, 1953, in North Charleroi, she was the daughter of the late Enoch and Susan Sokol Koslasky. She was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, was a retired clerk from the former Hills Department Store and was a member of the PNA Lodge 976, Fairhope Rod and Gun Club and the Hungarian Club. She is survived by her aunt, Jay Paholski of Belle Vernon, close friends, Patty Pupello, Ruth Antonelli, Jody Hussar, Candy Konkus, and Bobbi Jo Keefer, two nieces, Teresa Wilson, Katrina Daneshmand, and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Koslasky. Visitation will be held 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATIONS, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Prayer service will be held 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgr. Roger A. Statnick, pastor, as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the Rosary for the departed soul of Lorraine Koslasky 3 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
