Obituary

Pauline M. Buchton, 87, of Belle Vernon, went to be with the Lord in her home on Saturday, February 13, 2016. A daughter of the late Carl and Christine Drotos Komperda, she was born in Redstone Township on November 13, 1928. Pauline had resided in Washington Township most of her adult life, was a member of Lynnwood Lutheran Church in Belle Vernon, and a former member of the Fairhope Rod and Gun Club. She never missed a party and enjoyed playing bingo at the Belle Vernon High Rise and Center on the Hill. Pauline’s smile was contagious. She was a wonderful friend to all that knew her and will be greatly missed by all. Survivors include her son Raymond (Elizabeth) Buchton of Port Royal, VA; her daughter Barbara (Donald) Bridge of Belle Vernon; two sisters, Caroline Patton of Monongahela and Christine Komperda; three grandchildren, Donald (Georgann) Bridge of Great Mills, MD, Daniel (Tami) Bridge of Centerville, and David (Samantha) Bridge of Eighty Four. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Buchton, Jr. in 2010; three brothers, Carl, Vincent, and Daniel Komperda; and two sisters, Patricia Trozzo and Mary Lou Esola. Friends will be received 2 to 4 P.M. and 7 to 9 P.M. Wednesday in the Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon.www.FergusonFuneralHomeAndCrematory.com 724-929-5300. Funeral services will be in the funeral home at10 AM Thursday with Pastor Matthew Stabe officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
