Mildred L. Baker, 95, of Monessen, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016 in Fayette City at the home of her son. A daughter of the late James and Grace Vogel Nelson, she was born in Monessen on November 14, 1920. A member of the Fayette City United Methodist Church, Mildred enjoyed bowling and playing cards. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Becky Baker, five grandchildren, Amanda Engel and her husband Dave, Shaun Baker and his wife Angela, Stephanie Espejo and her husband Jesus, Joe Morrison and Jason Morrison and his fiancé, Tanya, fourteen great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Alexis and Shaun Baker, Marco, Lily and Julian Espejo, Taylor, Kendall and Nathan Morrison, Allie and Kirsten Brooks, Ethan Charcalla and Wyatt and Kylar Morrison, one sister, Lee Manown and one brother and two sisters-in-law, James and Jeanie Nelson and Lorraine Nelson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Baker in 2002 and one brother, Robert Nelson. Friends will be received 9 to 10 A.M.
