Rita Ann Watson,77,of Monessen,passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Nov.22,2016. Born Sept.20,1939,in Vesta,she was the daughter of the late John and Anna Catherine Winn Lang. Mrs. Watson was a homemaker and member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church,Monessen. She was the beloved wife of 51 years to the late William "Bill" Watson. She is survived by four sons and daughter-in-law, William Watson of Speers,John Watson of Monessen,James Watson of Monessen,and Kevin and Denise Watson of Virginia Beach,Va.; daughter and son-in-law,Anna Marie and Martin Vasquez of North Belle Vernon;nine grandchildren,Marty and Shaina Vasquez,Adam, Dylan and Ryan Watson,Tyler Watson,Camryn Rose and Ava Watson,Ashley and a great-granddaughter,Taylor Lynn;and her best buddy,"Pudgy." In addition to her parents and husband,she as preceded in death by four brothers,Melford,William,John,and Guy Lang;and three sisters, Evelyn Havrilak,Mary Ellen Wysochanski and Donna Jan.
