Stella Koschalk; 98; of Belle Vernon; passed away on Sunday; Jan. 29; 2012; in Monongahela Valley Hospital. She was born Dec. 12; 1913; a daughter of the late John and Mary Zachawicz Bochinski. Stella was a lifelong resident of Belle Vernon and Catholic by faith. Survivors include one son; Phillip Koschalk; of Belle Vernon; one daughter; Shirley Matrozzo; of Belle Vernon; with whom she resided; eight grandchildren; Cheryl Comsia and her husband; Dan; of Seattle; Wash.; Cathy Hickman and her husband; Dennis; of Ellensburg; Wash.; Rob Koschalk and his wife; Tammi; of Spokane; Wash.; David Koschalk and his wife; Barbara; of Elco; Charles Koschalk; of Pennsylvania; Paul Koschalk and his wife; Donna; of Monessen; Debbie Savage and her husband; Jeff; of Jeannette; and Duwane Koschalk and his wife; Mary; of Monessen; two brothers; Henry Wilk; of Mechanicsburg; and John Wilk; of Greensburg; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and her dear friend; Deno Carini; of Belle Vernon. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Andrew Whitey Koschalk; in 1974; one son; Edward Koschalk; one daughter; Sonya Koschalk; four brothers; Joseph; Andrew; Frank and Edward Wilk; and four sisters; Eleanor; Antoinette; Mary and Helen.
