Carol M Wolford, 80, of Monessen, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2025 in Penn Highlands, Mon Valley Hospital. A daughter of the late William and Betty (Harger) Swaney, she was born in N. Charleroi on January 13, 1945.
Formerly of Belle Vernon, Carol has been a resident of Monessen since 1970. She worked at the Brookvale clothing factory for over 20 years until its closing and retired from Donora Sportswear after working for over 5 years. Carol especially enjoyed baking.
She is survived by her husband of almost 55 years, Carl ‘Buzzy’ Wolford, a son, Robert Wolford and girlfriend, Lori Ellis of Star Junction, a daughter and son in-law, Carla and Gino Pacelli of Ridgway; four grandchildren, Courtney (Luke) Anderkovitch, Brianna (John) Copeland, Joshua (Allison) Kucmeroski, and Jason Kucmeroski, three great grandchildren, Hudson, Archer, and Lillian, a brother-in-law, Robert Wolford and his girlfriend, Denise of Ruffsdale, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter in-law, Tina Wolford and a sister, Wilma Brandon.
Friends will be received on Monday, December 8, 2025 from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. and 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. in the Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc 700 Broad Avenue Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300. www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com.
