Obituary

Carolyn Lemon, 67, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Pricedale, departed from this earth for another land. Sister Carolyn closed her eyes in her last sleep on Tuesday, July 8, 2008, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born February 17, 1941, in Pricedale, a daughter of the late Matthew and Georgia Lemon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Clarence Lemon, and two sisters, Patsy Moore and Geraldine Williamson. She leaves to cherish her memories five children, Dianne Lemon, of Philadelphia, and Roy (LaShawn), Kimberly, Taru and Matthew (Tamara) Lemon, all of Pittsburgh, two sisters, Constance Johnson, of Maryland, and Charlene Prunty, of Donora, one brother, Charles (JoAnne) Lemon, of Chicago, 11 grandsons, one granddaughter, and five great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Carolyn will be forever loved and missed. Family and friends will be received at Petra International Ministries, 235 East Gate Dr., Pittsburgh (formerly the East Hills Shopping Center) on Friday, July 11, from 1 to 6 p.m. and Saturday, July 12, from 10 to 11 a.m., the hour of service in Antioch Baptist Church, 945 Henry St., Belle Vernon with the Rev. Clifford Carter officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the BEVERLY C. DRAPER FUNERAL HOME, 608 Sixth St., Monessen (724-684-6242).
