Private funeral services were held Friday;May 27;2011 for Frank R. Evans Jr.; 57; of Monessen; who died Tuesday; May 24; 2011; in his residence. He was born May 9; 1954; in Monongahela; a son of the late Frank R. Evans Sr. and Margaret J. Boyer Evans; who survives. He was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church of Monessen; PNA; Italian Club and Eagles; all of Monessen; the Belgium Club of Charleroi and Belle Vernon Musical Club. He worked as a counselor for Life Works of Monongahela and was a 1972 graduate of Monessen High School and California University with the class of 2000. He was an avid fisherman. In addition to his mother; he is survived by a brother; Scott J. and wife; Mary Beth Evans; of Cheswick; Pa.; nephews; Mitchell and Justin Evans; an aunt; Agnes Boyer; of Donora; an uncle; Nick Zlatovich; of Myrtle Beach; S.C.; and numerous cousins. Funeral services were entrusted to the RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC.; family owned and operated as a member of the Golden Rule; 1209 Grand Blvd.; Monessen.
