Hannabelle Phares,102,of Belle Vernon,passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family. How blessed we were to have our mother for these many years. She was born on July 14,1915,to the late Edward Dudgeon and Josephine Young. She was married in 1941 to her devoted late husband,John Rutherford Phares. She was a very loving and caring person who touched so many lives. Her smile was contagious and above everything else she loved life and the many family and friends who were part of it. Her grandchildren affectionately called her "Mema" and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Hannabelle leaves to cherish her memory,two daughters,Carole Anne Phares and Nancy Jo Phares;one grandson,Mark Alan Brown;and three great-grandchildren,Cory Alan Brown,Cherokee Iza Brown and Montana Kay Brown. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m.Thursday,Dec.21,2017,at WILLIAM R. TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME,645 McMahon Ave.,Monessen. Interment will be at the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
