Mary P. Potemkin Braddock; 89; of Belle Vernon; Rostraver Township; died Monday; March 17; 2014; at 6:17 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Hospital; Youngstown; Ohio. Born July 7; 1924; in New Kensington; she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Septak Kudlik. A lifelong resident of Rostraver Township; Mrs. Braddock was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church and the St. Barbara Altar Guild. She was a retired clerk from the former Fox Grocery and Wetterau. Mary also served as a past treasurer of the Fayette City Golden Agers. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law; Marlene and John Falibota of Youngstown; Ohio; and Fay and John Szwast of Novi; Mich.; a brother; Charles Kudlik of Latrobe; brother-in-law; John Stock of Canonsburg; seven grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister; Nancy Stock. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATIONS; Family Owned and Operated; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon; 724-929-6183. Relatives and friends will gather Thursday for 9 a.m. funeral services at Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church; Mary Street; Belle Vernon; with the the Very Rev. Father Samuel Smolcic officiating.
