Barry R. Matson; 62; of Washington; Pa.; formerly of Belle Vernon; died Tuesday; Nov. 1; 2011; at 5:05 p.m. at Kade’s Nursing Home; Washington; Pa. Born Sept. 7; 1949; in North Charleroi; he was the son of the late Robert C. and Donna June Ramsey Matson. Barry was Protestant by faith and an honorary member of the Washington Township Fire Department. He is survived by a brother and sister-in-law; Richard L. and Edwina L. Matson; of Belle Vernon; sister; Marlyn Caramela; of Sinking Springs; Pa.; three nieces and a nephew; Erin Matson; Eric Matson and wife Meghan; Autumn Richthorn and husband Damon; and Ashley Lorah and Husband Josh; and five great-nieces and great-nephews; Jadyn Matson; Makayla Fichthorn; Kyleigh Fichthorn; Michael Lorah and Zachary Lorah. Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME; Family Owned and Operated; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon; (724) 929-6183. Services will be held Saturday at the funeral home at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Richard C. Klein Jr.; of Rehoboth Presbyterian Church; officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
