Mary Pidanich Kuhn; 93; formerly of Belle Vernon; died Saturday; Oct. 4; 2008; in Adult Assisted Living; Dunlevy. She was born in Newell on Nov. 17; 1914; a daughter of the late George and Anna Pidanich. A member of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon; she had lived most of her adult life in Belle Vernon. She was married to the late John E. ‘Ted’ Kuhn for 68 years until his death in 2001. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law; Edward ‘Teddy’ and Janet Kuhn; of Winfield; W.Va.; one daughter and son-in-law; Mary Ann and Lawrence Dodds; of Beaver; five grandchildren; Beth Baran; Karen Myers and husband Brad; Jeffrey Dodds and wife Deborah; Scott Dodds and wife Richelle; and Jennifer Dodds Balachow; seven great-grandchildren; Rachel and Jessica Myers; Taylor and Trevor Dodds; Rieley and Mia Dodds; and Alexandra Balachow; two sisters; Julia Pidanich Henderson and Eleanor Pidanich Burchic; and one brother; Frank Pidanich. In addition to her husband and parents; she was preceded in death by six sisters; her twin; Anna Pidanich George; and Esther Pidanich Beachum; Tressa Pidanich Hoover; Helen Pidanich; Elizabeth Pidanich and Irene Pidanich; and two brothers; George and John Pidanich.
