Albert H. Santo; 80; of Belle Vernon; Rostraver Township; died Saturday; Feb. 12; 2011; at 2:28 a.m. at Country Care Manor. Born July 26; 1930; in Roscoe; he was the son of the late Peter and Mary Kacsan Santo. A resident of Belle Vernon for the past 50 years; Mr. Santo was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; was a retired clerk in the tube mill office from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel; Allenport Plant. He was a veteran of the Korean War; having served in the U.S. Navy. He was an avid bowler at Lynnwood Lanes; Belle Vernon. He is survived by his wife; Marie Tintori Santo; to whom he was married 50 years; two daughters; Karen Sadowski; of Connecticut; and Marlene Rainey; two granddaughters; Brooke Beck and husband; Jason; and Nicole Rainey; and three sisters; Julie DiRito and Ann Pierard; both of Charleroi; and Lorraine Santo; of Roscoe; and numerous nieces and nephews. The last of six brothers; he is preceded in death by Frankie; Joe; Mike; John and Andrew Santo. Visitation will be held Tuesday; Feb. 15; from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and from at the LEONARD J. Prayer Service will be held Wednesday; Feb. 16; at 11 a.m. in the funeral home followed by Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. at St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgr. Roger A. Statnick; pastor as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian Parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Albert Santo Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
