Obituary

Margaret Ann (Bolchak) Pollack, 90, of Fayette City, died Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, at Family Hospice and Palliative Care, Pittsburgh. Born Feb. 9, 1922, in Fayette City, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Magdelyn Halgus Bolchak. Mrs. Pollack was a lifelong resident of Fayette City, was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church and the former Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church, Fayette City. She also enjoyed reading, cooking and ironing. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Mary Jo Pollack, of Peters Township, two daughters and sons-in-law, Ann and Richard Revak, of Fayette City, Sandy and Kevin Whetzel, of Fayette City, five grandchildren, Thomas J. Pollack, Brian Revak, Carissa Erenrich, Jeremy Whetzel and Suzanne Whetzel, four great-grandchildren, Ryan Pollack, Tyler Pollack, Kylie Pollack and Rosalie Revak. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander J. Pollack, Aug. 31, 1982, and four brothers, John, Andrew, Joseph and Frank Bolchak. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATIONS, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, (724) 929-6183. Prayer service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home followed by Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church with Monsignor Roger A. Statnick, pastor, as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the Rosary for the departed soul of Margaret Pollack at 3 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
