Obituary

Loretta K. Bilsky, 68, of Belle Vernon, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 15, 2012 in her home. A daughter of the late John R. and Wanda Kosevsky Bilsky, she was born in N. Charleroi on April 17, 1944. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, she was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. Loretta had worked for the former Charland Clothing for 15 years, the former Volkswagen Company for ten years and retired in 2006 from Corning Glass of Charleroi. Survivors include one brother and two sisters-in-law, Dennis and Carolyn Bilsky of Belle Vernon and Bertha Bilsky of Roscoe, nieces and nephews as follows: Kellie and Jim Speck of Plum, Dana and Brett Thompson of Roscoe, John and Erin Bilsky of Plum, David and Jil Bilsky of Gilbert, AZ and Karen and John Avolio of Canonsburg, and five great-nieces and great-nephews: Jenna Thompson, Jessa Thompson, Jack Bilsky, Paige Marie Bilsky and Anthony Avolio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John R. Bilsky in 2010. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Tuesday in the Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon (724-929-5300). www.FergusonFuneralHomeAndCrematory.com. A blessing service will be in the funeral home Wednesday at 9:30 A.M. followed by a funeral mass in St. Sebastian R.C. Church at 10 A.M. with Msgr. Roger A. Statnick as celebrant. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
