Linda L. Salvino; 61; of Belle Vernon/Rostraver Township; departed this earth on the wings of angels on Tuesday; April 21; 2009. She was born in North Charleroi on Aug. 17; 1947; the daughter of the late George Salvino and Anne (Nudo) Salvino Iacovangelo. Linda grew up in Monessen and was a 1965 graduate of Monessen High School. She had worked as a data entry clerk for the former Fox Grocery; Wetterau and SuperValu. Linda had also worked in the same capacity for A&L Construction of Rostraver Township. She was a parishioner of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church in North Belle Vernon. A loving mother; sister; aunt and nunnie; Linda will be sadly missed by those who loved her. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law; Jason and Michele Pfarr; of Belle Vernon; two brothers: Eugene Salvino; of Monessen; and Vincent Salvino; of West Virginia; two sisters and brothers-in-law; Anita and Joseph Vescio; of Las Vegas; Nev.; and Amelia ‘Millie’ and Dennis Nemoseck; of Rostraver Township; her grandson; Jacob Pfarr; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her step father; Michael Iacovangelo. Friends will be received Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. and CREMATION SERVICES; 441 Reed Ave.; Monessen (724-684-8750). Services will be held Saturday; April 25; beginning with an 11:15 a.m. blessing in the funeral home; followed by a noon Funeral Mass in St. Sebastian R.C. Church; North Belle Vernon.
