Dorothy N. Nutt, 86, of Jefferson Twp., went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 30, 2023. A daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Yates Brown, she was born on January 20, 1937 in Washington Twp., Belle Vernon. A southern Baptist by faith, Dorothy has been a resident of Jefferson Twp. for over 60 years. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Ford (Joe Laskey) of Perryopolis, a son and daughter in-law, Karl and Kelly Nutt of Jefferson Twp., and three grandchildren, Pamela, Collin, and Michael Nutt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude R. Nutt on January 30, 2007, a sister, Alice; four brothers, Bill Brown, Robert “Bussie” Brown, and 2 brothers in infancy.
