Owens and Ruth M. Hough Owens. Surviving are a son; Lee Barnes and wife; Sharon; of Naugatuck; Conn.; son-in-law; Jim Porter; two brothers; Richard Owens and Robert E. Owens; of Charleroi; eight grandchildren; Tracy Barnes; Michelle Barnes; Kenny P. Porter; James Porter; Beverly Porter; Bonnie Porter; Barbara Porter Cavanaugh and William (Billy) Porter; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband; Leander Lee Barnes; daughter; Phyllis Barnes Porter; brother; Herbert Owens; and sister; Virginia Owens Book.
