Obituary

Anna Williams, 96, of Rostraver Township, went to be with the Lord Sunday, March 24, 2013, in Nevaeh Cove Personal Care Home. A daughter of the late Vasil and Anna Chornack Krivjanik, she was born in Monessen Jan. 19, 1917. Protestant by faith, she had resided most of her adult life in Rostraver. Anna loved crocheting and was formerly employed by Johnson's Restaurant in Monessen, had been a beautician at the former Fusters Beauty Shop, taught at the PBA Beauty School and retired after teaching cosmetology at the Mon Valley Vocational Technical School. Survivors include seven grandchildren and their spouses, Rhonda and Chuck House of Rostraver Township, Robert and Linda Waggoner of Fallowfield Township, Rick and Missy Waggoner of Sutersville, Raina Roberts of Charleroi, Resee and Michael Bick of Red Lion, William E. Williams III of Fayette City and Wendy Williams of Alexandria, Va., 13 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Edward Williams in 1975, one daughter, Roberta Anne Waggoner in 1990, one son, William E. Williams Jr. and her siblings, George, John, Michael, William, Mary Savage and Helen Sivak. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300, http://www.FergusonFuneralHomeAndCrematory.com. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with Pastor John Matsko officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
