Geraldine Russell Brewer,age 86 of Hopwood,Pa.,passed away peacefully on Monday morning,November 3,2014. She was born on May 24,1928 in Lowber,Pa.,the daughter of the late James R.Russell and Blanche Robinson Russell. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her beloved husband,Kenneth E.Brewer,brothers,James R.Russell,John D.Russell,Harry W.Russell,Maurice G.Russell,and Roger A.Russell and sisters,Margaret R.DeCarlo,Bertha Kunkel,and Sue C.Flenniken. She was a member of the Abundant Life Church,a member of the Card Club,and the Thursday night Supper Club. She worked for many years at Bell Telephone. She is survived by her loving children,Peggy S.Jackson of Jeannette,Pa.,Timothy J.Brewer and wife Paula of Uniontown,Pa.,Daniel S.Brewer and wife Ann of Statesville,NC, and Laurie B.Facemire and husband David of Titusville,FL.;grandchildren,whom she adored,Russell "RJ" Jackson,Megan M.Brewer,Margaret "Maggie" Werner,Rebekah A.Brewer,Sarah B.Facemire,Joshua D.Facemire and Jordan A.Brewer;great-grandchildren,Whitney J. Jackson and Theron Brewer Jackson;her sister,Julia F.Geller of Uniontown,Pa.,and brother,Samuel R.Russell and wife Mary Ellen of Belle Vernon,Pa.;several loving nieces and nephews,other relatives,and many friends. Friends will be received on Wednesday,November 5,2014 in the Abundant Life Church,1239 Brownfield Rd.,Uniontown,Pa from 3-7 p.m.and Thursday mornng until 10:00 a.m.,the hour of service with Rev.Nicholas Cook officiating. Interment will be held on Thursday afternoon in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Abundant Life Church.
