Fred M. Yowonske, 75, of Charleroi, passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021. A son of the late Alex and Marie Steele Yowonske, he was born in North Charleroi on March 24, 1946. A lifelong resident of Charleroi, Fred enjoyed visiting with cousins, going out to eat, gardening, going to car shows, cash bashes, and going to his monthly retiree meetings. He always enjoyed having a pet in the house and his last pet was a rescue dog. Fred retired in 1999 after 33 years at USX, Clairton Works. He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Ron and Christeen Yowonske and Randie Yowonske, all of Charleroi; three grandchildren, Ashley, Jarrod, and Brianna; one sister, Gloria Stoltzfus of Gap, Pa., and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 P.M. and 7 to 9 P.M. in the Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon. 724-929-5300 www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com.
