Kathryn J. Tisot Wozniak; 97; of Belle Vernon (Washington Township); died Monday; May 26; 2008; at Mon Valley Hospital; Carroll Township. Born Aug. 10; 1910; in Newell; she was the daughter of the late James and Margaret Trettle Tisot. A resident of Washington Township for the past 68 years; Mrs. Wozniak was a member of St. Sebastian R.C. Church; Belle Vernon; and was a homemaker. She was a member of the former Catholic Daughters of the Americas Belle Vernon Court 1522; former auxiliary of the Belle Vernon VFW Post 3557; St. Sebastian Ladies Guild and former Mon Valley Volunteers for Torrance. She was currently a Ladies Rosary maker; member of the Fayette City and Belle Vernon Golden Agers and the Friends of the Veterans Organization of Belle Vernon. She also worked as a cook at the Jefferson Room in Canonsburg. She was a great cook and fantastic baker. Her great joy was cooking and baking at St. Sebastian Church; especially her apricot tea cups and orange rolls. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends. She has joined her grandson; Tommy; who awaits her in heaven. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law; Gloria and Thomas Hackenson of Belle Vernon; son and daughter-in-law; Robert and Dorothy Wozniak of Perryopolis; and a daughter-in-law; Helene Semancik Wozniak of Washington Township. She is preceded in death by her husband; Alex Wozniak; on Jan. 8; 1986; one son; Donald Wozniak; on Feb. 8; 2006; grandson Thomas S. Hackenson on March 26; 2008; 10 brothers; Nathan; John; Charles; Wilbert; Francis; David; Raymond; Edward; Louis and James Tisot; and a sister; Rose Landrum. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME; Family Owned and Operated; 626 Broad Avenue; Belle Vernon; (724)929-6l83. Prayer Service will be held Thursday at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by funeral Mass at noon at St. Sebastian R.C. Church; with the Rev. Charles P. Esposito; Parochial Vicar; as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian Parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Kathryn Wozniak Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home. Kathryn J.
