Obituary

Nancy Campbell, 79, of Bourbonnais, formerly of Penndel, PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee. She was born on August 15, 1938 in Charleston, WV, the daughter of Ray and Edith (Oldaker) Milstead. Nancy married Robert Campbell on June 11, 1955 in Clarksburg, PA. He preceded her in death on February 3, 2003. Nancy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Whether it was watching her children and grandchildren ski or watching them ice skate, she loved being anywhere with her family. A devoted Christian, her favorite book was the Bible. Nancy was a member of Open Bible Center in Kankakee. She enjoyed singing and church choirs. She is survived by four children William (Linda) Campbell of Bourbonnais, Kathy (John) Haynes of Elimsport, PA, Daniel (Cary Gott) Campbell of Ormond Beach, FL, and Debra (Jerry Chevrette) Campbell of St. Augustine, FL; eleven grandchildren Jennifer (Chad) Woodworth, Kimberly (Joshua) Espenlaub, Laura (Matthew) Enderle, Michael Stalnos, Doug Stalnos, Natalie Salazar, Nick (Kirsten) Stalnos, Amanda (Boo) Wooldridge, Paul (Lorrie Smith) Harbus, Hannah Campbell and Brandon Campbell; and nine great-grandchildren Autumn, Emma, Kyle, Hunter, Benjamin, Emily, Ixchel, Abigail and Alora. Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings, Ray Milstead and Carrie Sue Schapp. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 11am at Open Bible Center in Kankakee. Inurnment, alongside her husband, will take place at a later date in Belle Vernon, PA.
